What Makes Homeopathy Different?

Homeopathy is a natural system of healing that works in cognizance with the body to relieve symptoms and allows it to reinstate itself. It is a safe treatment system that focuses on improving the overall wellbeing. Homeopathy is a system of natural medicine introduced and developed by a German physician Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, during the late 18th century. Homeopathy medicines or “remedies” stimulate the body’s self-regulating mechanisms to initiate the healing process.

The word homeopathy comes from the Greek word “Homoeo” (similar) and “Pathos” (suffering).  Homeopathy is based on this, the law of similar. It simply means that any substance which can cause symptoms in a healthy individual is also capable of curing these symptoms in a person who is unwell.

Homeopathy is a complementary therapy that works on the principle of "Like cures like". The therapy itself works on the basis of ‘dilution increases potency’ and the treatment focus derived from, ‘disease caused by miasms’.  The remedies are mainly sourced from plants, minerals, and some metals, etc.
